Direct credit of shares to client without hitting broker pool is now live. Its removes a systemic risk where brokers had access to clients shares. MTF pledging becomes easy as now its auto-pledged The risk left is clients cash lying in broker pool. Hopefully it gets solved

From 10th February, under the new regulatory F&O framework If you short 24,000 call options on 13th February contract and buy 24,000 call options on 20th February contract, the margin requirement would have been ₹50,120 earlier due to hedging, while the total margin was ₹18.3k

MTF book on NSE/BSE: •9th Jan: ₹87,355 crores •10th Jan: ₹86,466 crores •13th Jan: ₹84,222 crores MTF positions sold: ₹2,244 crores on 13th Jan, ₹3.2k crores over 2 days. Out of 3.1k selling by retail, 2.2k seems on account of MTF. In a way, lightened the book

Starting today, Nifty lot size is revised from 25 to 75 - NSE volumes has further dropped to ₹72 lakh cr from nearly ₹130 lakh cr - 1 lot of buy option is now at ₹11k premium from ~ 3.5k earlier! - Short straddle margin is ₹2.4 lakh, rising to ~ ₹3 lakh with ELM on expiry
