Emacs is/was the GOAT. The lack of multithreading drives me insane however. I have spent dozens of hours optimising config (classic) and I can still, sometimes, type faster than certain aspects of Emacs can handle (e.g. the completion framework).
Perhaps Lem is the future.
Selling a car is such a monumental hassle and nuisance I’d rather just now own a car again in the future honestly. Would rather focus on more important things.
99% of "AI in a box" products: a shitty hardware device that calls a REST API that is probably a proxy for ChatGPT or some model off of Hugging Face.
Can I have $420 million dollars in funding now?

A decent boon for TS schema validation if adopted. It will allow you to use whatever validation runtime you like (e.g. Zod et. al) without having to be tied to that runtime's implementation.
This may come in handy for an Ethereum REST API I'm working on.

Why are most FOSS/crypto communities in Discord for communication?
Discord search sucks; their forum-esque features suck compared to just using a forum; the notification spam is insane; and you can only join 100 'servers' before you need to pay.
Bring back forums or use IRC.
Shit developers crutch on CoPilot because they lack the capacity to write the solution in the first place.
Having problem solving skills (from working through it), understanding of fundamentals, the ability to reason about context ARE the skills.
CoPilot doesn't teach you that.
The new live action TLA series is better than the abomination that is the movie but the amount of exposition dumping (poor story telling) and wooden acting makes it a 3/10 or 4/10.
The enshittification of GitHub is now actually happening, what we all feared when Microsoft acquired them way back when.
You can NOT search repos anymore without singing in.
What a fucking joke.
This is something I've been working on for some time: ethernets.io, an Ethereum network crawler. I've also written an article explaining everything to get you started: hackmd.io/@angaz/BJ-kJ3b…. A much more technical article is coming soon within the next few days.
