Traditional QM spawns "fixes" like superdeterminism, consciousness/gravity-induced collapse. Barandes' work (arxiv.org/pdf/2302.10778) gets rid of them: a stochastic hidden variable model + decoherence = definite outcomes. Consciousness = high lvl byproduct of that stochasticity.
