I'm all for eliminating capital gains tax, but why should Bitcoin capital gains be treated differently from other speculative assets? Genuine question. Also, if you want to avoid a taxable event, just buy stuff with your Bitcoin.

A big @nextjs dx improvement would be adding file system based middleware. It feels a bit out of place for my middleware.ts to be in the root directory instead of within the /app along with all of the other pages. Is there a specific reason for this? Cc @leeerob @rauchg…
