Debt Ceiling ‘deal’ is akin to paying ransom to a kidnapper. There’s no question of who did the hijacking. If Progressive Dems refuse to go along with it, they will receive the blame for the ensuing economic debacle. Better to aim at 2024, & secure majorities to unwind this shit

We won,OK now fix THIS: Social Security earns more than it spends each year .The $’s stored in Treasury Bills, making it ordinary government funds. Because we won’t tax corporations and billionaires, CONGRESS has borrowed over 1.5 TRILLION from these funds. PAY IT BACK!

Carville got it right--The primary message should be: "Republicans said out loud they'd close down government to force cuts to Social Security and Medi-cal." Lots of different issues, but EVERYONE will need Social Security and Meds one day. Tells you who they really are.

Here's my problem. Excoriating Repugnants is easy feel good meds. Democrats are complicit in a pay-to--play system turned after big money by Clinton-SUmmers-Rubin which basically trepanned working people. THAT's why they're crapping in the capitol. Fix it or Lose everything.
