Watching PR govs press conf. after listening to southwest PR mayors talk o100% without power seemed surreal. Apparently, there two realities, what the mayors inform, and what PR gov wants us to believe. Elder compromised people, children and adults with special needs is reality.

Totalmente inaceptable que en Puerto Rico aún hayan pueblos 100% desprovistos de energía eléctrica. Escuchando la conf de prensa del gov. parece ser que hay dos realidades. Adultos mayores, niños y adultos con nececidades especiales, que sufre, es realidad.

The PR government and LUMA must take immediate action to restore full power in southwest regions of PR. That we still have towns that are 100% without electricity and others substantially without power is beyond comprehension given the economic resources made available to LUMA.

BREAKING: The Supreme Court just reversed nearly 50 years of precedent and overturned Roe v. Wade, ending the federal constitutional right to abortion. We won't deny what a horrible moment this is. Half of the states are expected to ban abortion.

En Puerto Rico el aborto sigue siendo legal. La decisión del Supremo federal es una desgracia para millones de mujeres en los EEUU, pero ojo: hay estados donde hay legislación a favor del aborto, hay otros donde no está prohibido y otros que van a legislar para legalizar.

Pueblo, comiencen sus listas de políticos que no están con por lo menos mitad de las electores. Pídanle que rindan cuentas, en las urnas - dejen de votar por colores. En PR el der. reproductivo sigue siendo estado de derecho; algunos quieren alterar ese derecho; NO LOS DEJE.

Según portavoz de Policía de PR, el arma que apuntaron a manifestantes de la UIA está autorizada por federales que supervisan la reforma policial. Están fuera de contexto, arma menos letal que se autorice en ciertas circunstáncias no es carta blanca para intimidar manifestantes.

En Riley v. California (2014) - Trib Supremo de EEUU resolvió que para entrar al contenido de un celular, en busca de evidencia contra su dueño, se requiere que, mediando causa probable, el oficial obtenga una orden judicial de registro y allanamiento. @PRPDNoticias @CivilRights

Sin conocer detalles de incidente que se informa ocurrió, aprovechamos para aclarar, según reiterado por trib. apelativo fed, el pueblo tiene derecho a grabar funcionarios en foros públicos. A falta de circunstancias esp. un oficial no está autorizado a confiscar celulares. @ACLU

Apuntar arma a personas que ejercen un derecho de expresión no solo es improcedente, podría además ser violación al acuerdo sobre reforma policial. El hecho que no se trate de un arma de fuego, no quita que se trate de arma menos letal, pero arma al fin, e intimidación. @ACLU
