Spitfire XVIe cockpit completed, 1/24 Airfix straight out of the box. Awesome kit, this. #JFFForSimon Seatbelts are the wrong type, but these Airscale belts are so damn good it would be criminal not to use them!

Today's progress on #JFFForSimon, Airfix 1/24 Mk.XVIe Spitfire conversion. Low-back conversion complete, Buchon Models resin parts all superglued and faired in with Squadron putty. Didn't quite get the cuts right on the right side, used a plastic shim to square it up.

I just finished a salvage job on a scrapped model. It's a Matchbox 1/32 Lysander. I used all the original parts, including the crew figures, only added the Lewis gun and some new decals. I'm really happy with what I managed with what I started with!

#JFFScaleModels Just finished this crazy paintjob which should have been in #JFFAtSea 😔 1/400 cruise ship AIDAsol from the excellent Revell kit. Built out of the box using Revell enamel paints. Lovely kit, was like therapy to build 😊 by far the most colourful model I've built.

I think...I'm finally out. Sorry it's not the Tenth @TerryTyler4 (bit late) but this algorithm has killed most of the enjoyment I used to derive from Twitter. X is a hive of disinformation, confusion, negativity, abuse, lies and superstitious nonsense. Maybe it's just society 🤔
