I’m prototyping a system that links two points on the map. As you can see, inspired by Mimimi games. Initially, I experimented with splines but found better results overriding the OnPaint function of a widget to draw the green lines & circles. #AGIParadox #indiedev #solodev #ue5
I found something useful to debug your NavMesh: "Navigation Testing Actor". Include 2 of these actors on your level, select on each the "Preferred Nav Data" and "Other Actor":pairing both. On the editor you can move it around and visualize the navigation of your character.#ue5
