Do you want to start a portfolio of sites? This advice will save you a lot of headaches. ❗️USE THE SAME TECH STACK❗️ Trying to recover one site that got hit. But for some reason, I used a different theme and set of plugins on this one🤦♂️ It's a nightmare to make any changes.
My hill to die on: Most niche site owners don't need to care much about technical SEO. 🛠️ (unless you mess up something during setup) But if you use WordPress with some recommended theme (GP, Astra, Kadence), you should be fine. What's your opinion? Let me know below! 👇

@AlexNicheSites Oh wow Alex, sounds terrible. However, I found that different tech stack can get you better deals. I bought a raw php website. Bought it for several $$$$ with 40K visitors a month. If this website was on WP, the price would have been much much higher.
@AlexNicheSites Great advice. I’ve made that mistake before. One of the core advantages of running a portfolio is that you can keep the same tech stack (and operational team) across multiple sites.

@AlexNicheSites I think you're generally right for the most part. I spent a LOT of time optimizing a site only for minimal returns but created decent content and backlink outreach and got much bigger returns
@AlexNicheSites In my experience, the basics work great for niche sites, I think eComm requires more technical knowledge
@AlexNicheSites That's pretty much true. They are optimized for SEO. Together with Yoast one is pretty much set.
@AlexNicheSites @cassiemcblane Mmm I have made literally the best post imaginable and sometimes it’s still not enough for the algo, and sitting rank 9 or whatever. Get a good-enough version of the post out, then edit later with GSC data and rank knowledge !
