i guess another side note, twitter's been an insanely valuable resource for learning game dev and art stuff. i basically learned how to rig low poly models just from gifs posted on here. My manga panel shader was based off a tweet from 2017

I -finally- finished gluing crap into a junk/travel journal that I started when I traveled to Japan earlier this year. It's a project I -never- would have done before SEASON, but now I'm glad to have this 1.6kg treasure that my family and I can open up again some day.

I see lots of people complaining about the new levels of control for DM privacy. Personally, I think nuanced control is a good thing. IMO, the biggest problem is that there is no option to explicitly exclude blue checks from messaging you.

There has been a homeless person living in this bus shelter at St Urbain/St Viateur in Montreal this summer. He was removed a week or so ago, but he came back. Looks like the city decided to deal with him by removing the shelter entirely.
