@VIA_Rail So… no air conditioning in car one and two. Brutally hot. Unhealthy and uncomfortable. 30 + degrees with sun shining in windows. People have red faces and are sweating. Hope no one dehydrates on this 4 hour trip. Attendants are so kind and trying to help .

@VIA_Rail There has been no air conditioning in cars 1-2 since we left Toronto three hours ago. So uncomfortable. And we are in Business Class so paid for a special trip of which we were so excited to do. Brutal!

I think it's relevant to share this: got an email that I can get the Astra Zeneca vaccine at a pharmacy in BC today. So, did my own risk assessment. A key factor: among the medical doctors I trust, every one has advised all of us to take the first shot we're offered. And I will.
