If you’re fresh off booze, painkillers any other drug, don’t expect to feel normal for sometime. Some People often have too high of expectations & believe they’re doing it wrong if they don’t feel better right away. There is no instant gratification in healing! #addiction

To live a life without fear is amazing I was always afraid of rejection, being judged, this fear caused me to continue drinking, the biggest fear I've had while sober was asking for help and walking into the rooms this is now a blessed moment that I will forever be grateful for

People (drinkers) often say they drink cos they’re bored. What they don’t perhaps realise, or have long forgotten, is that LIFE is boring unless you fill it with things you like doing. The catch is - if you drink all the time, you lose sight of what it is you DO like doing!!
