Started playing with streaming telemetry on my #eveng lab using #Telegraf #InfluxDB & #Kapacitor and ended up embedding #grafana graphs of pps and BGP status updated with jQuery per 10s. Used the Text Obj to add images and JS. TODO: post about it. @EVE_NG_TEAM @InfluxDB @grafana

My #homelab cloud costs are out of hand. Managed #K8s via AKS, EKS, GKE and even DO quickly becomes expensive to run any type of useful workload.

Duplicate session IDs can be painful on PanOS when Active/Active in certain designs. It necessitates the need for multihoming.

I just realized something strangely profound. @nigelpoulton has been reading to me at night. For whatever, isolation perhaps, when I read his k8s book, my brain automatically narrates the passages using his voice. Believe me, Nigel, when I say I'm just as concerned as you are.

And so it begins. Temporary salary reductions across the entire organization, including executives. I'm fortunate to be part of an organization that is dedicated to retaining employees, which is fantastic; however, I fear this is only the first wave of the storm.

New rule for myself. I will not purchase a subscription to a service if a phone number is not available and the company only has a social presence on Facebook. I would rather work with my bank to cancel the transaction than message on Facebook for otherwise unreachable support.

#Yester a wrapper for #Pester that enables tests to be described in #YAML. It's used by my internal team to author simple, repeatable infrastructure tests. It makes testing more approach able for those without #PowerShell experience. github.com/autoalan/Yester
