My DMs are always open if anyone needs to talk. I know this time of year tends to ramp up our anxieties, illnesses and issues so if you need to talk or just vent I’m happy to listen.

Been away for awhile but had many things to straighten out. All is good now and I’m going to try and catch up on what I’ve missed so be patient with me.
What trigger took you the longest to figure out? For me it was admitting my family was my biggest trigger. Besides a wonderfully messed up childhood, thanks mostly in part to my mother, I’m absolutely nothing like anyone else in my family so being around them is uncomfortable.

Even the darkest night eventually gives way to the light of the sun and with that light comes a new day and another chance to better yourself and your life. You are all amazing, strong and beautiful people and I have nothing but love for all of you.
Why is it for so many of us that when you have several good days and a couple of nights of actually sleeping well we start to worry that something bad is going to happen? Why can’t we just enjoy the good times? It’s mostly rhetorical, I know the answer, it’s just frustrating.
Seems like it’s been a rough Friday for a lot of folks so let me just say this, tough days like everything else will pass and tomorrow holds untold possibilities. Keep pushing and keep fighting and if you ever need help there are a lot of people here who are willing. Love you all

I read an article by a therapist (can’t remember who, sorry) that said “tend to your needs, not to your fears” and it has helped me question the purpose of some of my actions day to day. Not that everything needs purpose.

can anyone recommend reasonably priced meal replacement drinks/mix? need to get some nutrition somehow but i’m clueless as to where to start bc everything is all about diets and i’m not trying to lose weight 😅
I have people in my life that try hard to understand what it’s like for me with bipolar. They ask me to explain the feelings of depression/mania but honestly there is no way to verbalize the feelings. You have to live it to really understand it and that’s why I have this account.

Woke up in a bad way mentally, didn’t want to leave the house… And whilst there were tears on the way & lots of walking… half marathon #3 is complete 😀
After many many months of 3 day and weekly scripts I've finally been trusted to have 2 weeks worth of medication in one go!! Yay!
Mission 1 was to get home after work. No drawing out money, no pick ups. Makes it much harder to then go back out. Done & home. Walked past the cash machine going no no no no no no
