Today, I had a wonderful time at Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia. Meeting with Prof. Yedilfana and visiting the polymer physics lab with Prof. Newayemedhin was truly exciting. It was a great opportunity to learn about the photophysics of organic polymers.
It was such a pleasure working on this with @michal_gwizdala and @LCupellini! We presented the first elaborate QM/MM calculations of 2 important phycobilisomes, revealing many insightful details and challenging the current view of excitation energy redistribution in the cores.
