If you're having problems with EA App for Mac or your game library, and the App Recovery tool hasn't fixed it, try manually resetting EA App by trashing the cache, preference and other installation files (does not affect installed games) #EAApp #Mac bluebellflora.com/2024/04/04/ea-…
EA App Mac migration is increasing. Based on my own testing: ➡️ macOS Catalina and above forces migration ➡️ EA App is much smoother than Origin ➡️ still an issue with DLC installing. I think this affects Ventura and above due to required permissions. Fix: bluebellflora.com/2024/03/20/ea-…

If you receive an "unknown error" when trying to download Sims 4 Packs and Kits to an external drive in EA App for Mac, enable Full Disk Access in System Settings. This should be an automatic prompt when installing but isn't, hopefully EA fix it quickly bluebellflora.com/2024/03/20/ea-…
It has some teething problems, testing a couple of issues users have posted so far - language and external drive, EA App Recovery doesn't remove all the cache files it should 🤦♀️ - but on the whole, EA App is really smooth in macOS Sonoma 😱

@SCarverOrne @EA @Maxis I think you misinterpret what I said. I said there's no workaround and currently only a mod would be able to solve it. I never in the whole threads said that they are not going to fix it. That's how rumor start.

@TheHenfordHen They cant fix everything and if everything gets pushed for issues people dont even have this results in nothing getting fixed cause issues need to be investigate which takes time. Me too isnt just and indictor how many are affected, its also who is affected.
@crinrict I've always assumed the reason people were doing that is because most people actually having issues never report on the forums and then it takes longer for those bugs to be fixed if they ever get fixed. But this is interesting and good to know.
