How fast I can detach. Anything I love extremely deeply I’m prepared to lose. It can break my heart but I have learnt how to keep going. It can seem cold, but if it takes me off my pivot..I’ll cut my finger off to save my hand. I can’t lose myself again, for anything. I’ll heal.

One of my biggest problems is that I’m constantly torn between cutting people off & being patient with them. Sometimes it’s hard to tell who you have to go through a storm with in order to see the sunshine, and who’s loyal and toxic & not meant to be on your life.

If you knew how difficult and how long it took some people to recover their peace of mind and happiness, you'd understand why they shut all doors at any slight discovery of toxicity, and also why they can be so picky about who they allow in their lives.
