AI is better than most offshore developers. AI never tells me “it works on my machine” or takes a week to do something that should take a couple of hours. Offshore is so fucking cooked, and I’m excited about that.

My biggest pet peeve is pedantic software developers that spend time worrying about how many spaces are configured in prettier instead of shipping value for the business. It makes me extremely happy that these will be the first people to lose their jobs to AI.

Does anyone have a success story using offshore developers? I’ve worked on countless projects with developers from almost all of the top offshore countries and they’ve all been miserable (Pakistan the worst, Philippines the best). I’m ready for AI to replace this.
