I love, love, LOVE a handwritten list. Done early AM, the list organizes the day, tames chaos, puts me in conquer mode and offloads my brain. Add to that a dopamine hit every time I cross something off and an accomplished feeling at the end of day review.

My son has mid April appts at Cincinnati Children’s, got this email today from his specialty clinic. Proactive preparation. This is just one of the many reasons why we travel 6+ hours for his care.

No, we’re not typical patients. 2 days post stroke, using Weber Medical Infrared Helmet which penetrates the skull with light therapy to stimulate healing of her brain. Gotta think outside the allopathic box. All they’ve offered us so far is jello squares and fruit juice.
