I know mega-facilities and expensive equipment will never go out of style in S&C, but I’ll admit- having to pivot to training my athletes out of my garage is refreshing. Getting rid of excess is never a bad thing. It’s why the fundamentals in anything remain timeless.

Relative strength helps you: Sprint faster, jump further, throw further, bound, skip, hop, cut, stop, start, handle unnatural movements & positions, tolerate sport specific asymmetric, stay healthy etc etc etc etc... etc. I’d say it’s quite important.
