I had the honor of presenting at PASNAP this weekend with my MOM! We were able to provide background information on FND, answer questions, and emphasize effective strategies that can be utilized by school nurses to prevent or de-escalate episodes in the school setting. #FND

I had a patient hesitantly say to me yesterday, “I hope this is okay to say, but I just have never had a PT that looks like me, and I really like working with you.” I love making my patients feel safe, included, and seen, especially during exercise which can be vulnerable. 🥹♥️
