A good prompt is simply one that generates the output you want, no need to overengineer it.

I write a prompt, generate the result, then refine and regenerate, repeating the cycle until it produces exactly what I want.
AI makes it easy to move fast, but fast turns to chaos when you skip structure.
Bad AI output is usually your fault It means you didn’t give it enough context or direction.
Structure + Context = Clarity. That’s how you stop the AI from going rogue.
Don’t just build features, build reusable understanding into every layer of your process.
Switch prompts as you move through phases of development so your AI stays in the right mindset.
Make system prompts modular. One for planning, one for backend, one for tests, one for frontend, one for UX.
Once you find yourself saying the same thing a lot, add it to the system prompt.
Keep repeating yourself to the AI, it forgets unless you remind it. Context is key; you'll inevitably surpass the context length of the LLM overtime.
Use your AI like a co-planner, not just a code generator. Talk to it about structure, goals, and plans.
Don’t assume AI “got it”, double-check that every piece fits into your pattern and project plan. Nothing less, nothing extra
Always check: Is the AI output matching your desired structure and expectations?
Once your core loop is solid, Protect it with tests before building new features that might break it. Some people even start with the tests.

Know your core loop It’s the heartbeat of your product and the compass for every AI prompt.
Without structure, AI will keep generating junk until your codebase becomes an incomprehensible mess.
AI thrives on patterns If you don’t give it one, it’ll make its own… badly.
Establish your patterns early. Folder structure, data design, UX flow. Before you ever hit “Generate.”
