Over 200 students walked out of Morgantown High in WV today in protest of a recent decision by their county’s superintendent to ban Pride flags in classrooms. After walking out, they taped a flag to the school’s wall and held up their hands in the shape of a heart.
Again, I am so proud of the near 300 students for organizing and walking out in protest of the Mon. County schools Pride flag ban. Thank y’all for entrusting me to help make your vision a reality. Y’all are absolutely incredible. The power belongs to the people, y’all! 🌈
