Ending first full week on a high note! Did my first COMPLETELY SBG assessment and love the look of my gradebook. Ended the day with the JUICIEST conversation over a @playwyourmath problem.

Very grateful for whole Linear Bundle from @Desmos this morning. Rich vocab convo from Polygraph plus kids in my Alg1 class who rarely take on the expert role were running around and helping their classmates. 80 minutes flew by teacher.desmos.com/linear

Had a great class on quadratics today! Made a code with @scratch that asks the user for a,b,c values. Then told user the axis of symmetry. Asked kids to remix code and tell the user the vertex, y-int, and f(x) for any x. #mtbos #CSforAll

#mtbos what's your favorite resource for quick graphing calculator how-tos? TI? Unfortunately still need to teach some skills w/o Desmos :( Have emulator but would prefer not to re-invent the wheel.

#mtbos! I am teaching in lab rooms with wall-to-wall cabinets. I have small white boards portable ones like the photo but about 2ft x 2ft...... but I'm really missing that VERTICAL and convenient part of #VNPS. Any suggestions?

#csk8 - My students want to make a game that quizzes the user on the coordinate plane, popping up a random pt and then asking the user for coordinates. Standard xy background won't work. Solutions? Anyone have a background that fits perfectly but with more gridlines?
