It was a warm weekend in parts of Nunavut yesterday with record breaking highs in the mid teens. The heat continues, especially for Coral Harbour which will see the 20s today before a slight cool down tomorrow. Remaining above seasonal in the area all week #NUstorm

This fall has brought #heat to most of the territory with mean temperatures 3-10°C above normal. The warmth will continue with near freezing temperatures in the Kivalliq this weekend, around 16°C or more above normal, likely exacerbating an already very late freeze up🌡️#Nunavut

Wind, rain and snow is on the way to the Kitikmeot & High Arctic this week. A mix of rain and snow starts tonight with wind gusts up to 70 km/h. Expect windy conditions to continue in the Kitikmeot and for Resolute Bay through tomorrow along with a few cm of snow. #NUStorm
