The @EONIndia celebrated the 261st Nepal Army Day this evening. Several high ranking Indian Army officials, Defence Attaché of other countries and friends of🇳🇵, among others, were present on the occasion.

Variability in monsoon arrival and withdrawal, as well as the lack of suitable forecast tools, is affecting agri. /development work in🇳🇵, adversely. Prof. Elena Surovyatkina’s presentation at the @EONIndia was helpful in understanding appropriate tools for forecasting monsoon.

In the Sacred Garden of Lumbini, DPM/FM Hon @nksthaprakash highlighted Buddha’s message for compassion, peace and meditation during the Lumbini Conclave this afternoon.
The discussion was focused on economic development and prosperity.
Hon’ble DPM & FM Mr. Narayan Kaji Shrestha had a meeting with H.E. Mr. Wang Huning, Chairman of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) and Member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau.
During the meeting both the leaders assessed the state of bilateral relations and expressed commitment to work together to further elevate the ties. In a warm and cordial meeting, two leaders emphasized on the swift implementation of projects.
