I have the NA meetings schedule bookmarked in my phone. In case I need in person support next week. Listening to music & crying has been helping me deal with my grief & not use. Christmas Eve I will be with family. Xmas Day I'll be with my boyfriend. Not being alone is key for me

I try to believe that detours & obstacles are part of the path I'm supposed to be on. But I can't see how finding my grandpa dead can lead to anything good. I am hollow inside. Going through the motions in life but stuck in time. I keep seeing his face. I want to use to forget.

Happy Turkey Day everyone!🍗 I'm making a commitment to get through this weekend sober. I hope you will join me in this pledge. If you can get through one Holiday weekend without using, it is a huge victory. Sure lots of people will be partying but you can be strong & stay clean.

As Holiday stress mounts, I find myself dipping into fantasies of using. Wanting to escape & once again having the privacy to get away with daily controlled use. I hope all of you can get through Thanksgiving 🦃 sober, like I'm trying to. This is a hard time of year.

I'm officially back together with my ex.😄Dating an older man with the means & desire to help makes me feel so special.🥰 I've known him for 10 years. We have more of a friendship than a romance. But we're good together. He's stable & easygoing. Which I need now to stay sober.

My ex-boyfriend agreed to let me move in until I get on my feet. As long as he can get approval from the owner of the house he's renting. He said he had a feeling I would be moving in so he made a place for 2.💓 I would have my own room/bath. I am so relieved & hopeful.😌

I'm visiting my ex-boyfriend at his new place tomorrow. Wish me luck in mustering up the courage to ask if we can work out an arrangement for me to move in. Without crying. I talked things out with 2 good customers & my Mom. Almost burst into tears with each of them.😞

Had a hard day. Doing everything I can to stay calm & not say what I'm really thinking to the people I live with. It's taking every ounce of self-control to stay in control. Cravings are high. I'm trying to stay strong & fight them. I don't want to cave. I need to stay sober.
