Bond's luggage has been lost. He took the wrong suitcase from Miami airport and when he opened the case that he thought was his all he found to wear was a blue bath robe, made of terry cloth. 007 - for the sake of the department - please don't meet Leiter wearing that.

An electrical short circuit is thought to be the reason Bond’s hotel burned down. A fried body found in a bathtub, no doubt of Bond’s doing. Sending him with all due haste to Miami. Hoping Leiter can keep him out of trouble.

The actor Michael Caine was at Blades last night, his accent as grating as ever. Said he was staying with Mr John Barry in Knightsbridge and was up all night listening to Mr Barry at work on the piano. I wonder what he was composing?

Operations has afforded all of the double-o’s with rather nice black, skin tight garmentry they call a “PTS”. Sent Bond off to Mexico. Investigating a Mr Ramirez, a know heroin smuggler. That wretched Smithers is scheduled for an 11am.

Doctor tells me I need to drink more water. Get rid of these blasted headaches. Had a bath last night. Rather than pull the plug to drain the water I DRANK IT. All of it.

Had a nice long walk today. It is always good to do a bit of exercise and get the blood flowing. I walked over to my office window, looked out and sat back down again. Quite exhausting.
