On one hand delighted with a PB at @CChaseparkrun but any runner will understand the issue, 18m 00secs today, wished I'd got 17m 59secs!! Great race, venue & organisation and was it the free cakes on offer at the end responsible for the PB? #parkrun #buyingawatch #fueledbycake

Again thanks to @staffsocchealth for the physio service for patching up the knee and getting me to the starting line....fit for WORK, REST & PLAY. Ran for the works team last night (own time & cost!), 1st in my age category.... #chuffed

Ran a works X Country race today first one for 16 years. Bumped into an old colleague 72 years of age, retired 22 years ago. "I'm still going but finished second to last last race...bit worried today" Me "carrying an injury?" "No bloke who did finish last is not here today!"

After victory last week at @parkrunUK and claiming the imaginary gold...4th today, didn't even make it onto the imaginary podium!!! Credit to the volunteers today (again) bit slippy underfoot but fun as ever... Long run tomorrow... #parkrun #GetInvolved
