As our first day comes to a close, we owe you a bit of an update. In a word: incredible. In only about 12 hours, more than 1,700 graduate workers signed a union card to affirm our demand for fair working conditions at the University of Minnesota.

Congress must pass legislation that codifies Roe v. Wade as the law of the land in this country NOW. And if there aren’t 60 votes in the Senate to do it, and there are not, we must end the filibuster to pass it with 50 votes.

closing the tab groups for each class at the end of the semester feels almost as good as throwing away all the accumulated random papers and notes after each year like I did in middle/high school 😌
