@GithubProjects this tweet is considered hate speech at amazon

@GithubProjects Make self hosting guide for Node.js apps using @Hetzner_Online dedicated server @BerrryComputer
@GithubProjects Nah, if you can self-host a model, then using API of the same model from providers like @DeepInfra will be way way cheaper. They have Llama 8B at $0.03/M output tokens Economics of Scale.

@GithubProjects Self-hosting: the adult version of moving out of your parents house.
@GithubProjects Well not for every use case. But for everything else just @coolifyio
@GithubProjects Self-hosted is the only way I fly. If you want blazing fast IPv6 everywhere, it's also the only way to do it.
@GithubProjects If you really believe this, tell this to Microsoft and report back what they said.
@GithubProjects Let's hear the most simple and secure solutions!
@GithubProjects I really really reaaaaaaaaally want to believe you. But I don't think that's going to happen. People are fundamentally lazy. ^^

@GithubProjects Big corps try to kill self hosting. Google & M$ try by making DKIM and DMARC shit required or their services refuse to transport mail. This shuts out less technical folks and older servers. Web-wise, the big guys do everything they can to fuck up SSL for us.
Unfortunately I lack the financial means to get hardware for self-hosting, so paying for hosting is cheaper for me. Plus, it's not like self-hosting is 100% free either, as you still have to pay for a domain (and if you're on a residential connection, set up some form of DynDNS so the domain points at your computer even if your external IP changes).
@GithubProjects It has been for a long time. 15+ years with Cloudron.io makes it effortless with full updates + email and 100+ apps in secure containers, unlimited users and domains.
