I had to do a bunch of research on "Web3" a few years ago for a job interview. Upon close inspection, it's 99% hype and buzzwords. Most things labeled as Web3 aren't even decentralized. And Web3 is not a practical replacement for the internet, making it a misnomer.

Canada has a problem. Home invaders don't care if you lock your door and have a camera or alarm, or if you are home with your spouse and dog calling the cops. They know you are unarmed, or too afraid of the law to defend your home using lethal force. Expect more of this.

@Rothmus Some form of property rights exists all over nature and can be found in most species, intelligent or not. Nesting or burrowing animals don't share their lairs. Hoarding animals don't share their food. Pack animals don't share their kills outside of their immediate family.

If I were a cop, I wouldn't be able to live with myself if I had to arrest a person who defended themselves with a kitchen knife in his own home at 3 AM against a violent attacker with 2 accomplices armed with crossbows. That's just me though. MSM's already trying to spin this.
