How to get the country (US) back on track - follow the Clinton/Obama framework of slowly cutting government - no backfills, 10% budget reductions across the board over a set time, etc, following rules and laws. Also raise taxes. Can't do it without both.

My take - we are watching the planned dismantling of public education with no plan to replace it other than for those that can afford private schooling, which is mostly religious. This is a clear plan of the religious right that opposes public education. I have to speak out.

I negotiate a lot. From the largest fortune 500s to small start ups. This is not a good way to negotiate. This is threats. This never ends well. I've dealt with people who negotiate like this. They tend to get left in the dust when alternatives become available.

I hate time changing. Everyone seems to hate it. 90% of people seem to prefer DST especially those of us in the north except the few at odd corners of time zones. My solution, angle the edges of the time zones to reflect sunlight hours.
