The last five days have reminded me (again) why I hardly chase storms anymore. Idiots everywhere chasing storms, idiots everywhere on #WxTwitter, and that stupidity continues even five days later. Actually, that's why I actively avoid social media too.

Last week's gradient went event knocked my power out for 4 hours; so it looks like it may be time to unpack the generator for Sunday night/Monday morning. If the generator doesn't get lofted by QLCS-fun, it may prove useful for the 'fun' wind behind the convection. #okc #okwx

14 years ago: I witnessed my first tornado while chasing back on February 10, 2009... what would eventually become the Lone Grove-Ardmore EF4. You could see the mangled trees on I-35 just north of Ardmore for the longest time...
