We had a client get an incorrect settlement statement from US Bank underestimating closing costs by $100k in a commercial loan Loan closed, they called client bank demanding the extra $100k Feels like this shouldn’t be legal, wish our client had not sent the money @usbank

I have left my 9-5 and this Tweet is why I did this (with VA Loan) 10 yrs ago, and snowballed, all but eliminated my need for a 401k, or savings ever again I can’t “live on cash flow” but can now take a huge pay cut, and spend all my time getting Multi VA Loans for others

My biz partner found a CU with an awesome loan feature we used today Loans weren’t the best available, but no prepays and: 2x no cost, no questions, no work (well an email) rate reductions, anytime we asked over 1st 5 years Adds 100 bps of spread to these deals as a result
