Believe it or not we are looking for off ball defensive concepts. #1 do you JUMP to the ball when passed. As opposed to standing still or jumping backward. Do you get to mid-lane. Do you leave ball-side corner? All of it gives you advantage vs other prospects.

As I see videos of all these guys working on their game, all they ever do is work on their combo dribble moves. Once the game starts only one or 2 guys actually use the combo dribble moves throughout game. I wonder if anyone has individual workouts to learn how to: Cut, angles…

Whichever school ends up adding Hina to their team is going to be happy about it. She is a relentless competitor, and impacts the game with or without the ball on offense. I've watched her shut down opposing players from 5-foot-4 to 6-feet tall. She can guard just about anyone!

Watched some high-level hoops at the @FIBA U19s in Brno. What stood out right away? Passing. It’s non-negotiable—every player, every position. The international game demands it. We need to raise the bar in the U.S. and make it a bigger part of how we train and play.
