BFR isn’t perfect. And that’s the point. In trained athletes, it often doesn’t outperform traditional strength work. In some rehab cases, benefits taper once full loading resumes. It’s still a valuable tool, just not a magic one. #BFR #SportsScience #Rehab #Strength

Can tendons adapt without heavy load? Low-load BFR has been shown to improve tendon stiffness and CSA, matching high-load strength in some cases. Even passive BFR may acutely increase Achilles tendon stiffness, useful for early rehab or pre-activity prep. #BFR #TendonHealth

What role can BFR play across a full rehab progression? Not just for early phases, BFR can target imbalances, reinforce tendon/muscle capacity, and support return-to-play. Used right, it helps bridge the gap from rehab to performance. #BFRtraining #SportsRehab #ACLRehab
