“Ross Pelligra plans to spend $1 billion on developing a mixed-use precinct with training fields and a mini stadium, which will be funded by commercially run medical suites, a hotel, office and build-to-rent residential accommodation in the WA capital.”

If Stan and Pelligra can pull off this kind of coup, it will significantly enhance their reputation as football administrators and owners. It would also reinforce PG as a professional club with high standards, rather than one that tolerates and accepts poor performance.

Perth Glory have reignited their interest in John Aloisi for next season, with his brother Ross also a potential addition. While discussions with Aloisi are still early, no final decision has been made to move Zdrilic on, with the results in the last five games set to be pivotal.
I’ll say it once and I’ll say it again, make the call on Monday - REGARDLESS of the result. you’ve got an international break, make the call. there has to be a sense of standard at this club #PERvBRI
As the Glory prepare for their bottom of the table clash against the Roar, I believe there is an imperative need for the club to strongly consider re-assessing their current strategic objectives and personnel given the standards set last year 📝 jamesrenton10.medium.com/accountability…
really sorry to say, but I’m done. #ZdrilicOut. not enough tangible progress. this club must be striving for more and higher performance levels, more consistency.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but the Glory's finals chances are officially dusted, which will come as a shock to you all I'm sure.
More bad football from a bad football side. Press seems to have regressed and players look hesitant (see fourth goal). thewest.com.au/sport/perth-gl…
I want it to work for Zdrilic more than anyone, but I see no light at the end of the tunnel. No progress, no direction. Playing well in short spells isn’t enough. He’s had enough time, change should be seriously considered. The club needs an experienced coach to build.
In hindsight is always easy, but sacking Staj looks more absurd by the day. The club needed an experienced head for the rebuild, not a first-time hopeful. Last season ended badly but was that really on him? He had nothing to work with. Give Staj our current squad, we make finals.
Below is an in depth piece of mine that explores why I’ve held clear scepticism and reservations over David Zdrilic’s tenure as the Perth Glory manager this season and why I feel the final seven games are absolutely critical to crush those doubts 📝 jamesrenton10.medium.com/crunch-time-fo…
Perth will likely get only training compensation for a top talent, exposing their failure to secure young players long-term. It’s frustrating that clubs repeat the same mistakes. Pearman should have had a multi-year deal to avoid wasting investment into developing young players.

A huge win for Glory! It feels like the tide is finally turning, with Zdrila getting the team to play as a cohesive, united unit. With a few quality signings in January, the club could become truly competitive in the back end of the season. #PERvAKL
Credit to WU for a great goal, but the loss was due to Zdrilic’s poor game management and lack of substitutions. By the 65th min, the legs were gone. He should have used all his subs to keep pressing rather than sitting back. As a first-time coach, Zdrilic will learn and improve.
I haven’t criticised Zdrila until now, the team’s ineptitude and lack of direction is disgraceful. Recruitment has been poor, but trailing 3-0 at home to a bottom side after 26 minutes is indefensible. Even in 2021-22 under Zadkovich with an NPL-squad, we showed more resilience.
in some positive news, Ross Pelligra will be paying off the $1m owed to the ATO. CEO Anthony Radich today also mentioned that Pelligra is in it for the long haul, "In terms of the viability of the club and his ownership, the fans shouldn't have any concerns at all."
