Took on the 100# Challenge this week to recognize patterns in Math. More importantly, it helped us identify ways to help one another and develop teamwork in the face of challenge. So many life skills in Math!

Just read chapter 11 of #becauseofateacher. Could have been written about @JayClarkOH. Great example of an administrator who lifts others up, constantly encouraging. Thanks for helping me grow as a teacher.

Graphing points on the floor and using whatever materials to make our lines. Mini cups also double as counters to find the slope. I think we all needed this movement today.

Unit fractions modeled with donuts. It doesn’t get any better than this. Would you rather have 1/2 of a donut or 1/100 of a donut? The sweet tooth makes a good learning tool.

To maintain a family tradition of Bingo my girls and I created Easter Bingo using small household items. My dad could play a game with his many grandkids via Zoom. So wonderful to see the smiles despite the distance. #VBchallenge

Proud mom moment: one of my daughters said she doesn’t have it as bad as friends during #stayhomeohio. At least she gets to be with some of her friends: her sisters. What I’ve prayed for.
