18 yrs ago a massive bow echo with >120 km/h winds overturned 60+ boats on the Great Masurian Lakes & resulted in 12 fatalities. Radar in Legionowo stopped working at the exact moment storm strengthened. Environmental shear was limited. Very tricky situation to forecasters. #wx
