Since I posted more thoroughly on LinkedIn I am looking for new roles and I am interested in time series forecasting / anomaly detection and data infrastructure. Good fits for me involved hiring a general analytics workhorse or assisting with time series analysis.

While you don’t want employees to turnover, you don’t want employees who have only worked at your company. The injection of some new perspectives is important and or else you justify really weird and bad practices

It’s wild how some of the forecasting inside FP&A software is. Why on earth would you use the same algorithm for all your products? I wouldn’t expect milk to vary across time (due to temperature outside) like ice cream at a grocery store
