When I read AI Superpowers, it seemed inevitable that China would lead the world in AI. Number of researchers/publications, early innovation, opportunity for 'China -scale' roll outs - all pointed in that direction. Now, almost all innovation in AI seems to be coming from US.

This was my first thought when I read Klarna story. It sounds too good to be true. And even if it was true, why would the company so emphatically claim that it has replaced 700 humans. Good that someone has got to the bottom of it. Had half a mind to do it myself.

It might be the season to dump on google, but have a view that in AI , the company will be one of the top 2. The biases will need to be fixed but most enterprises have pretty mundane use cases that Gemini can address.
