Woohoo! Final night shift completed… Officially on annual leave. T minus 4 days to go ✈️🌎☀️🫶🏻
Note to self : don’t leave the ambulance window open on a street full of cats… his twin was on the stretcher #justchilling 😂😂😂
And we are back!!! After almost 7 weeks a much needed time off to reflect, recharge and to focus on my mental health was something I really needed. I wouldn’t be lying if I said I was a little nervous… but I’m very excited to be doing the job I love again 🫶🏻🚑🚨💚
Decided to take some time off work and focus on my mental health for a bit. Sometimes putting yourself first has to be a priority. However every time I’m off work even on rest days I become ill. Stomach bug and now tonsillitis…. I’d like a new immune system please 🥹☹️😖🫠
Yesterday was such a sad shift. A day I’ll remember for a very long time. Something I’ll be thinking about over the next coming days for sure. Some jobs will always stick with you… What a rollercoaster of a day🥹
Finally a bit of sun to enjoy on my rest days. I feel like I’m well and truly in my gardening/plant loving era. A successful day☺️👩🏻🌾🌻☀️☁️🫶🏻 #summeriscoming
Hi all. Just wanted to say a massive thank you to everyone who sent me lots of love. I’m home and resting. Whilst I still don’t feel 100% I’m very grateful to be even slightly better. Plenty of rest and I’ll be good as new again ready to return to work hopefully soon🤞🏼🫶🏻❤️🚑
Possibly the most scariest few hours of my life. Unfortunately I’m in hospital being treated for suspected meningitis. Not looking forward to the lumbar puncture that’s for sure! Perks of being in hospital everyone knows you so definitely getting extra special treatment ❤️🫶🏻
I’ve got a little procedure tomorrow at the hospital and I’m honestly absolutely petrified. I’m sure I’ll be absolutely fine but the unknown absolutely terrifies me!!! Manifesting some positive results 🫶🏻
Tomorrow is the day we find out my little boys primary school place. Literally only feels like yesterday he was born, lockdown happened and now he’s going to school in September. Where has the time gone?😭
This quote speaks a thousand words. How often do you hear from people “I’m always here” but it’s always those who will never “check up” on you first. Sad sometimes that in life you give more than you receive back. Just a thought 💭
My oldest daughter has gone on her first residential trip with school for 3 days. Im an emotional wreck. No one prepares you for this part of parenthood 😅😢
Anyone else run a hot bubble bath when they are in pain no matter what time of the day/night it is? Slightly crazy at 00.30 I must admit but anything to help ease the pain. I’m back into work tomorrow morning😢

I’ve never needed a little staycation more than this one. What a lovely 4 days it’s been making memories. Family time is precious 🫶🏻
We go away tomorrow for 4 days and I’ve not packed a single thing. Normally the person I am, I would be stressing right now ( anyone who knows me will know😂). Weirdly I’m as calm as a cucumber. This new approach to everything might be the start of a change I’ve needed🤷🏼♀️☺️
Sometimes a little self love words of wisdom goes a long way. For anyone who’s feeling a bit “meh” at the minute…. We are enough, We are capable and we are wonderful people, we are loved 🫶🏻 #selflovematters
Possibly one of the most draining days I’ve had in a while. Nothing worse than leaving work deflated and upset. I guess I’ll put it down to “it was just one of those day” 🙃
