Had to (again) defend a preparer's recommendation to extend returns this season. I promise you—as someone who helps taxpayers who find themselves in trouble—that filing an accurate return on extension is better than filing a rushed, flawed return in April. #tax

@EmDeeEm A few years ago, I saw a discussion on FB where a few tax pro's openly admitted to working only seasonal tax jobs & then collecting unemployment for as long as they could. Those firms & those people should find each other.
Saw a post in a taxpro group on FB that many firms fill seasonal roles by lying to candidates that the role is year round and then fire everyone 4/16. If you do this, please do us all a favor and GTFO of this industry. K? Thanks. #TaxTwitter
