You can learn a foreign language without living in another country and you can be a native speaker of a language without having lived in the coutry(ies) where it's spoken!

Istanbul Greek Idiom #445: Α wheel is a ρόδα/róδa (<Venetian roda) in Central Greek and a κατρακύλι/katrakýli (<Medieval Greek κατρακύλι) in Istanbul Greek. In Central Greek, α κατρακύλι/katrakýli is the hoop used in the old game hoop and stick.
