At Magpas Air Ambulance, we host monthly professional development days for our clinicians to further enhance their skills with specific training and development sessions. Today, the Magpas Air Ambulance medical team has taken part in extrication training with the @cambsfrs
🚁🎶 Wow! We are thrilled to have been awarded a special leaf on the Magpas Tree of Life which is on display at the new HQ at Alconbury Weald 🎶 🚁 @UUkuleles @Magpas_Charity 🤩
This week, Magpas Air Ambulance taught 108 children and 78 adults the lifesaving skills of CPR and how to use a defibrillator—including the year 5's at Thorpe Primary School, in Netherton, as part of their first aid awareness week.
Our lifesaving team treated more patients last week than any other week this year. They responded to 51 medical emergencies in 7 days! Thank you to all of our supporters, like yourself, who allow us to continue saving lives 24/7, 365 days of the year.
Spring is in full bloom at our airbase thanks to our wonderful volunteers who helped us plant trees, plants, and shrubs late last year—including these beautiful wildflowers!

Today marks the London Landmarks half marathon and one of our runners, Cat Elliott, was a former patient 10 years ago: "I will be running to help raise more funds for this lifesaving charity which operates 24/7, 365 days a year." Good luck to all of our runners today! 🧡

Over the Easter weekend (29 March-1 April), the Magpas Air Ambulance team responded to 26 emergency calls across 5 counties including Cambridgeshire and Bedfordshire. With your support, we can continue to save lives, not just around Easter, but all year round.
This Easter our medical team was surprised with 50 Easter eggs, donated by @DavidWilsonHome! This kind token of appreciation is welcomed by our clinicians, who will enjoy them between missions as they continue to provide emergency care to critically ill and injured patients 24/7.
