The most common IEP accommodation is extended time. What if we allowed additional time to any student? Or didn't time at all? If speed isn't what we're assessing, extended time doesn't change the standard. #LeadInclusion #EdChat #ATAssessment

We’re not on campus to estimate the height of the @StTimsRaleigh flagpole, so my students will be sharing videos of indirect measurement from home. I recorded mine today despite having a less-than-helpful assistant. (Our finding: using shadows, the post is ~9’ tall.) #iteachmath
I told my @StTimsRaleigh 7th grade classes that a guest speaker would be teaching today - and then turned on my camera in Zoom. Getting 13-year olds to actually laugh at an April Fool’s joke might be the highlight of my week. #iteachmath #MTBoS
