Damien and Myles Sanderson went on a stabbing spree in Canada this weekend, killing 11 people. Myles had 59 previous convictions and yet was still free. It turns out that the only sure way to protect the public from violent crooks is to put them in prison. Banning guns wont do it
The parole board in February lamented that Myles had suffered systemic racism due to his indigenous background. They blamed his violence on "loss of culture/spirituality."
@MattWalshBlog The rcmp were so busy running over grandmothers while on horseback, and chasing down Tamara Lich that they had no time to track this guy down. I’m embarrassed to be canadian.
@MattWalshBlog please focus on the only thing that is impt, were they vaccinated and boosted. thats all anyone wants to know in canada..
@MattWalshBlog Meanwhile my prime minister tells me I don’t have the right to a defensive use of firearms. He says this as he is surrounded by gun toting goons EVERYWHERE he goes.
@MattWalshBlog Lets not forget they're native and the media is still somehow blaming white dudes
@MattWalshBlog So, naturally the answer is to improve the public’s access to assault rifles and then mass stabbings will be less a problem. Yeah, makes sense.
@MattWalshBlog @larrysdottir I used to travel for business in Canada 20 yrs ago and I remember how proud they were they didn't have "gun violence." Yet when I was in the Toronto metro, the news was filled with stories about knifings, stabbings, etc. It's even more brutal & uncivilized than shooting.
@MattWalshBlog 59 previous convictions. How in the world is this person still on the streets?
@MattWalshBlog Fifty-nine convictions? If it's anything like our justice system, for every conviction there were probably 3 or 4 lesser charges thrown out. Victims families should be able to sue the government that let them out. This is atrocious.
@MattWalshBlog These guys go on a STABBING SPREE and there's people ranting about gun freedom. I'm HAPPY they didn't have guns. It could have been so much worse if they did. Just stop.
@MattWalshBlog They just need to do something about those high capacity assault knives
@MattWalshBlog How many people believe that 'concealed carriers' woulda stopped that early?.... because I do.
@MattWalshBlog In fairness, Canada has a 60 strike rule
@MattWalshBlog Stock up on knives before they wanna ban those too
@MattWalshBlog As a Canadian, this is an honest view of our justice system. Even killing people won't get you jail time; you have to accidentally misgender someone to get locked away for life.
@MattWalshBlog Yeah, sorry, RCMP was busy investigating the deputy PM getting yelled at. Priorities.
@MattWalshBlog It is crazy that Myles Sanderson attempted to murder his in laws in 2015 - went to jail for attempted murder - and the parole board gave him a "second chance" to do it again in 2022. Yes ... that's right folks, his MIL and FIL are part of the 2022 victims torontosun.com/news/local-new…
@MattWalshBlog Oh joy, the racism brigade is here 🤦♂️ 1. Parole board didn't release him early, he had done the legal requirement of time served. Statutory release means he doesn't just get cut loose but has to be supervised in transition from jail to public canada.ca/en/parole-boar…
@MattWalshBlog 11 is bad. Do you think that is worse than, say 22? Or 49? Or 60? Or is your point that it’s ok to allow mass shootings on the regular as long as other countries occasionally have other types of tragedies?
@MattWalshBlog And noticed that it was not really covered by msm. Didn’t push their narrative
@MattWalshBlog Imagine if he had access to an AR-15? How much worse this could have been. Thank God for gun laws in Canada.
@MattWalshBlog More Americans are killed with knives yearly than with guns. Pen knives, steak knives, plastic knives etc. Oh, and baseball bats work too.
@MattWalshBlog This isn't America. You can't put someone away for 50 years for assault. Stay on your side of the fence.
@MattWalshBlog I'm not gonna defend this man. But it's important to understand how legal system works. Half his convictions were breaches, not new crimes. And while parole board made poor choice in this case, many others released become productive members of society. cbc.ca/news/canada/sa…
@MattWalshBlog This is what happens when people pretend they are victims of systemic racism. They were victims, but not of the system, they were victims of their parents who got away with it!
@MattWalshBlog @tnlawgirl The only SURE way is to put them in a pine box.
@MattWalshBlog Was it a Military AR Assault Knife
@MattWalshBlog Execution is a fool proof way of dealing with it. But "capital punishment is immoral" say the people who are indifferent to our murderous forever wars and genocidal foriegn policy.
@MattWalshBlog @cshell_eh The only problem with your suggestion is that even if they are put in prison, they won't serve the time that such crimes merit because of the Liberal government's soft on crime strategy of "hug a violent thug". They will be out faster than Tamara Lich was.
@MattWalshBlog Ok cel boy. Works in my country.
