Damien and Myles Sanderson went on a stabbing spree in Canada this weekend, killing 11 people. Myles had 59 previous convictions and yet was still free. It turns out that the only sure way to protect the public from violent crooks is to put them in prison. Banning guns wont do it
The parole board in February lamented that Myles had suffered systemic racism due to his indigenous background. They blamed his violence on "loss of culture/spirituality."
The only kind of "criminal justice reform" we should be talking about is the kind that puts guys like Myles behind bars and keeps them there
@MattWalshBlog So innocent people lost their lives because their 'justice system' has more interest in protecting criminals than in protecting law-abiding citizens.
@MattWalshBlog Those people on the parole board should be held liable from the families of the victims that died. Maybe that would help with their decision making and others on the parole boards? Someone needs to be held accountable - they sure can’t sue the knife manufacturers!
@MattWalshBlog 'Indigenous background' should not be an excuse for anything.
@MattWalshBlog It's happening world wide. Here in New Zealand the "justice" system is being notoriously soft on indigenous offenders citing "culture reports"
@MattWalshBlog Even IF their hypothesis was true how does that justify allowing him out? Is he less likely to reoffend because “systemic racism” impacted his upbringing? Or does that just give him the right to commit further crimes? The lack of logic is perfectly Trudeauian.
@MattWalshBlog Look at poor 3rd world countries. Lots of people are impoverished. Lots of abuse going on, lots of crime. Yet there are still more good or "normal" people than criminals. A bad life is not a badge that allows you to commit crime without consequences. The final decision is yours.
@MattWalshBlog So if I punch somebody can I blame my Italian background since we tend to viscous with our hand movements?
@MattWalshBlog Just because a murderer was abused as a child doesn’t absolve them of the murders they commit. When we learn this and punish accordingly?!
@MattWalshBlog He obviously had loss of culture/spirituality, however that is no excuse and one must pay the consequences for the crimes they commit.
@MattWalshBlog arrest and try the parole board as accessories.
@MattWalshBlog His background mirrors my own with added sexual abuse whilst in the Foster system... guess what... I made different choices because I have morals, self awareness, responsibility for myself. Not once have I broke the law, been arrested, attacked anyone or stolen others property
@MattWalshBlog So sick of excuses being made to justify bad behaviour, selfishness and lack of morals of any kind ...
@MattWalshBlog “This is what you want, this is what you get.”
@MattWalshBlog Clearly these mass murderers were the real victims
@MattWalshBlog @Victoriaokane Well, as always That makes everything just fine
@MattWalshBlog White upper middle class guilt is a powerful thing.
@MattWalshBlog Remarkable how the parole board didn't consider the possibility they were dealing with someone who was criminally insane. It had to be evident after 59 prior convictions that he needed confinement and help. The 'system' failed him and now we have a tragedy involving many.
@MattWalshBlog Damn! I knew it! The DIE ideology is literally killing innocents!
@MattWalshBlog You gotta be kidding me. This is ridiculous, lock evil criminals up and protect these minorities
@MattWalshBlog Wait? Participating in a drum circle didn't convince Myles Sanderson to act mindful and peacefully and less like a corny wannabe 90s Gangsta? Shocking stuff
@MattWalshBlog Uh huh… the Devil made me do it. Did poor Myles run away from the scene as if he did something wrong?
@MattWalshBlog I’ve said this before, if the parole board releases a prisoner then that prisoners should live with a member of the parole board for at least a year.
@MattWalshBlog The old tired indigenous excuse for criminal behaviour Now its the fault of residential schools that a grandfather went to. boo hoo, Sorry I know plenty of people that came from shitty situations and never once used their race as an excuse. Time certain communities did the same
@MattWalshBlog that is a crock of shit if I ever heard it
@MattWalshBlog So let's put him in a healing lodge that doesn't work.
@MattWalshBlog @JacquelineManos This BS many grow up in bad and they don’t become criminals
