Lower 1 @TheVillageNW3 had an excellent phonics lesson today. The girls were enthusiastic, focused and determined to do well. All the girls read well, wrote beautifully and even remembered to use capital letters, finger spaces, and full stops in their writing. @RuthMiskinEdu 👏
Lower 1, @TheVillageNW3 and I had a wonderful art lesson with @VillagePrep_DH. The girls drew beautiful sunflowers. Our art teacher, Mr. Mo, will surely be impressed when he sees all these blooming flowers! I was impressed with all the techniques used by Lower 1. 👏 🌻 🌿

I am so impressed with Lower 1, as they’ve won a national poetry competition.The girls wrote some acrostic poems before half-term, & we submitted our entries with our fingers 🤞🏻To our delight, each of the girls won the competition & will have their poems printed in a poetry book.
The Lower School @VillagePrep are enjoying the coding club. The girls have become such great coders. The girls enjoy using the @scratch app to help them code. I am so proud of how well the girls code, give great instructions and work well as a team. 😃👩💻💻⌨️

The #PrepClass @VillagePrep had a brilliant time at London Zoo. We loved seeing all the animals and learning some interesting facts. We even sketched the marvellous Tigers 🐯 🐅 , were amazed by the butterflies 🦋& loved the cheeky monkeys 🙊. Thank you, @OfficialZSL 🦍🐾🦁🐍🦒🐠

A big thank you to June's dad Zack for teaching the #PrepGirls about the magnificent festival of Hanukkah. The girls lit some candles🕯️ on the Menorah and learnt how the candle kept burning for eight nights. We even had delicious donuts and played with the dreidels. 🍩 🕎🕯️😊❤️
Today the #PrepGirls were learning about 3D shapes. The girls had a mission to make the tallest tower using the best 3D shapes. They predicted what 3D shapes would work the best and what wouldn’t. The best shapes were the cuboid, cylinder and cubes, as you can stack them up. 😄
The #PrepGirls @VillagePrep have loved learning about the festival of light,💡 Diwali. 🪔The girls made beautiful Rangoli Patterns. They even had a special bindi! @VillagePrepHead was so impressed, she got her special stickers out. Happy Diwali from Prep!🎇 🎆 💥 #goodoverevil
